Our projects are built with the institutions that will run them: government authorities, NGOs, and companies with an existing relationship to the communities involved. The work below is deployed, not proposed.
Women Safety App
A reporting and response tool developed with the provincial safe cities authority.
Working with an operational authority meant designing to an existing response chain rather than around it. The research covered what women were willing to report, how quickly a report has to be actionable at the other end, and where a well-meant feature would have added risk instead of reducing it.
OpenData Pakistan
A national portal making public datasets usable by researchers, journalists and government itself.
The hard part was never storage. It was making heterogeneous government data findable and legible to people who are not data scientists — search that matches how a journalist phrases a question, previews that show what a dataset actually contains, and documentation that survives being handed between departments.
Humqadam
An app addressing gender-based violence in remote communities, built with a women's rights organisation.
Designed for a context where a phone is often shared, where seeking help carries risk, and where the nearest formal support may be hours away. The interface, its naming and its data handling were all shaped by that: what appears on screen, what is stored, and what a person can plausibly explain if someone else picks up the device.
Lahore Zoo
A mobile app and a redesigned visiting experience for one of the country's oldest public institutions.
The zoo receives visitors from across income and literacy levels, many of whom arrive with children and no plan for the day. We studied how families actually move through the grounds, then designed a wayfinding and interpretation experience around what they were already doing rather than what the signage assumed. The app carries the same content for visitors who cannot read the boards.
